The Road Trip

Well, it has been a long time since I posted anything here.  I have since driven across the country and now live in Indiana!!  Stacy and I made the epic drive and had a great time! We drove from Seattle to Butte, Montana were we stayed the first night in a hotel.  The next night we camped in Grand Tetons National Park.  Montana and Wyoming were absolutely beautiful and I hope to get back to the Yellowstone/Grand Teton area again sometime for some more outdoor adventures!

While in Yellowstone we realized that the A/C in my car had died and drove through the night to Denver in hopes of avoiding the summer heat!  We stayed with Jennie and Patrick while the dealership looked over my car.  Unfortuantely it would have taken them 3 days to fix my car and we didn't have that much time.  So after some time spent visiting we were on the road again.  This time is was a straight shot to St. Louis, MI to visit some old ship friends.



In St. Louis we stayed with Ana and Chrisanto.  We got to meet their babies and visit all night.  It is so amazing how people you haven't seen for years can welcome you into their home with such open arms.  The next morning we left St. Louis and bombed up to Indianapolis.

A good old ship friend, Kevin, had a room for me waiting at his house.  This was my new home!  I was so excited to have finally arrived in Indy!!
